Manchester and Liverpool begin their season win big Wins

0

Juan Mata capitalized on a defensive mix-up in the Cherries defense by Simon Francis shortly before half-time to give Manchester United their first premier league goal under the current reign of the Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho giving the coach his first premier league away win with the new team. Wayne Rooney followed with a lovely header in the second half from Martial kick to give the red devils their second goal. Zlatan Ibrahimovic maintained his incredible debut record with a wonder low drive strike from outside the box which announced his arrival to the Premier League to score the third goal. The game ended 3:1 after Bournemouth’s Adam Smith grabbed a consolation goal in the second half
On the other side in London, Arsene Wenger faced a disappointing loss from the visiting Liverpool after a seven-goal thriller at the Emirates where Liverpool beat home side Arsenal 4-3. Brazilian Philippe Coutinho scored two goals before he was replaced after facing an arm-string injury in the second half. New signing Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana were also on target netting their first goals with Liverpool this season to give Clopp his first win of the season. Arsenal tried to fight back with goals from the substitute Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott and Calum Chambers all appearing in the scoring sheet but the goals were not enough to grant the Gunners a win. This was a very disappointing loss for Wenger at home given that such a loss was experienced last in 2009.
