David Rudisha Rudishas Win!!!

0

David Rudisha made the Kenyan flag fly high as he raced towards his win in the last 300 meters to clinch the gold for the 800 meter race at the ongoing Rio Olympics. He is undoubtedly the undisputed champion of the 800 meter race in a record time of 1:42, the fastest since his unforgettable run in London. Rudisha’s win has made him the first athlete since New Zealand’s Peter Snell in 1964 to retain the men’s 800m Olympic title.
David Rudisha took a claim to this title back in 2012 when he clinched the gold for the same race. While the Rio time was not a record breaker, it still saw Rudisha as the Dominant Runner.
Running 1:42, it’s just fantastic. I had no doubts before,” Rudisha said. “The feeling in my body was good. It is great to win such a big competition, my second gold. It’s so great. I am so excited. It is the greatest moment of my career.”
Things are finally looking up for team Kenya.
